Patricia Cabernet Sauvignon 2004 ($56).


One of the best yet under this label with a French-like structure and style. Masses of blackcurrant with perfumed notes of mint and red berry merging with some nice cedary French oak. Firm core of fine-grained tannin with a subtle minerally edge.  The palate is controlled with sweet fruits beneath that nice dusty oak. 94/100.


Good match: Braised venison.
